THREE TWO ONE … GO!
Three houses, two adresses, one community: the kindergarden with family centre forms the north-eastern end of the Albert Schweitzer school campus. The typology of three interlocked “houses” makes the transition between the large sports and school buildings and the neighboring residential area. The interlocked structure creates differentiated outdoor spaces and themed courtyards. The future extension is a logical continuation and adds one new house to the former three. In the kindergarden each group forms a “house”. Under the skylights, open dressing areas form the central spaces of each “house” with the adjacent rooms. On the ground floor, the communal arears form open halls that allow views to all sides and expand the interior into the surrounding garden.
